The Blytheville High School ninth grade Junior Lady Chickasaws (0-10, 3-14) on Jan. 28 were defeated at Jonesboro Westside 45-10 in the 4A 3 Conference, and the Blytheville Middle School seventh grade Junior Lady Chickasaws (4-2) got the better of the Junior Lady Warriors 18-8.
The Blytheville Chickasaws (10-0, 20-3) did what they had to do in edging Jonesboro Westside 70-67 at Westside in 4A 3 Conference action Jan. 27, and the ninth grade Junior Chickasaws (3-7, 6-11) were defeated by the Junior Warriors 50-39.
The Blytheville Middle School eighth grade Junior Chickasaws (7-2) on Jan. 25 edged Paragould 36-35 at Paragould, and the seventh grade Junior Chickasaws (9-7) overpowered the Junior Rams 48-25.

The Blytheville Chickasaws (7-0, 17-3) remained hot Jan. 17 in the 4A 3 Conference standings by winning at Batesville Southside 61-40, and the ninth grade Junior Chickasaws (2-5, 5-9) suffered a 46-35 setback to the Junior Southerners.
The Blytheville Lady Chickasaws basketball team (0-7, 0-11) on Jan. 17 lost at Batesville Southside 69-37 in the 4A 3 Conference, and the ninth grade Junior Lady Chickasaws (0-7, 3-11) were defeated in league action by the Junior Lady Southerners 47-24.
