Blytheville Elementary School’s annual Math and Science Family Night was Jan. 28, 2016.
Area/perimeter legos, comparing fractions using playing cards, math operation dice games, measurement Chex mix, root beer states of matter, walking water, magnets and “create your own" slime were the activities students and parents completed during the night. Students also tried their luck at the “Lego Estimation Station”, where the grand prize winner returned home with a basket of souvenirs consisting of mathematics manipulatives, games, and snacks.
