
The Tenaris Summer Program will take place June 6th - June 30th, Monday-Thursday, 8:30-11:30 a.m on the campus of Blytheville Primary School. It is open to students entering Kindergarten through 6th grade. Students must be registered in the Blytheville School District. Interest forms were sent home with students on April 29th. When students return them, they will receive an application. Spots will be filled on a first come, first serve basis.
Bus transportation to and from the summer program will be provided to students entering grades 1-6. Those students entering Kindergarten will have to be car riders. Students will receive breakfast and lunch.

The community is invited to meet the new Superintendent of Blytheville Public Schools, Dr. Veronica Perkins. This drop-in event will be held at Arkansas Northeastern College in the Nucor Community Room located in the Center for Allied Technologies on April 20th from 5:00-7:00 PM.


March is National Reading Month, and this month’s RISE Arkansas newsletter is to motivate everyone of all ages to read every day. Reading is fun and has many benefits, regardless of your age, such as increased cognitive function, memory, vocabulary, empathy, and decreased levels of stress. This month, we will celebrate reading and provide lots of ways you can enjoy reading with your family. Included is a Monthly Family Fun Calendar. In an effort to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus within our staff and student body we are telling all parents/guardians of students who will be in attendance on-site, virtual students, and all employees to notify our designated Point of Contact (Tiffany Townsend) immediately when the following occurs:
Someone in the household has tested positive for COVID-19.
Someone in the household has been identified as a close contact to a positive case of COVID-19 and is requiring quarantine and/or recommended to be tested for COVID-19.
Students and employees who are being tested for COVID-19: If tested you must remain in quarantine until you receive your results.
A copy of your results negative or positive needs to be submitted to Tiffany Townsend.

Box seat tickets will be sold at the senior boys basketball benefit game tonight until after halftime in the lobby of the Arena. Start time for the game is 6:30 PM. The seat's ticket will be good for any regular season game night that there is a BHS Sr varsity boy or BHS Sr varsity girl team playing at home. It is not good for benefit games, Classics, tournament games, or playoff games.
The cost of tickets are:
One seat for $80,
Two seats for $150,
Three seats for $225,
Four seats for $280.
You will choose your seats when you pay for your ticket. The seats are located in the bottom of the middle section on either side of the court (behind the teams or across from the teams.) At this time there are 8 Sr girls and 8 Sr boys home games scheduled (most of those nights there are 3 games, the 7th grade and/or junior high play before the Sr high) for a total of 16 home nights that the tickets are good for.
You must keep up with and show your ticket at every game to enter and to sit in the box seat. There will be no refunds for cancelled games. Thanks for your support.
