The BHS PBIS Book Vending Machine had its first purchase today! Students can get a token from the PBIS store after school for 20 Kickboard dollars. Each token buys one item. In addition to some great books, the vending machine has journals, sketchbooks, and accessories.

BHS 9th and 10th grade students will be ACT Aspire Testing on Tuesday and Wednesday this week. Students need to arrive on time at 7:55, and be prepared with their computer and charger both days.
The community is invited to meet the new Superintendent of Blytheville Public Schools, Dr. Veronica Perkins. This drop-in event will be held at Arkansas Northeastern College in the Nucor Community Room located in the Center for Allied Technologies on April 20th from 5:00-7:00 PM.

The men’s basketball Chickasaws won their game against Farmington last night. They will play Berryville in the semi finals tonight at 7:00 at Magnolia. The 4A State Finals will be Saturday March 12th @ 7:45 in Hot Springs.

March is National Reading Month, and this month’s RISE Arkansas newsletter is to motivate everyone of all ages to read every day. Reading is fun and has many benefits, regardless of your age, such as increased cognitive function, memory, vocabulary, empathy, and decreased levels of stress. This month, we will celebrate reading and provide lots of ways you can enjoy reading with your family. Included is a Monthly Family Fun Calendar.
