Mr. Scott Ferrell, BHS's theatre teacher, took a group last week to the Arkansas State Thespian Festival. Two of our students, Maddie Hixson and Lizzie Langston, received All-State Cast awards, and Ja'nesiha Lewis received an All-State Crew Award.

SCHOLARSHIP DEADLINE APPROACHING
Tenaris Merit Award applications for juniors and seniors are DUE THIS FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 17. Students that meet the requirements will need to fill out the application that was emailed to you. Each year Tenaris awards 15 senior scholarships worth $1,500 each, and 10 junior scholarships worth $750 each.

Thirteen BHS students were inducted into the Rho Kappa National Social Studies Honor Society last Thursday night in the BHS Auditorium.
BHS students and teachers have been visiting the book fair in the library this week. Proceeds go to buy more books for the library. The last day for the fair will be Monday, Jan. 30.
The BHS PTO hosted a 50/50 drawing during the home game last night. Mr. Walters was our winner, and he was, as always, a continued Chickasaw supporter by donating his winning amount back to the BHS PTO. Thank you Mr. Walters!!
