The Blytheville Chickasaws (2-1) on Nov. 17 defeated Manila 57-49 to earn third place in the weekend Brookland Tournament. The Chickasaws lost to eventual champion Baptist Prep 53-50 in the Nov. 16 semifinals.
The Blytheville Chickasaws on Nov. 20 will go against Jonesboro in a benefit basketball game for the Arkansas Activities Association, with tip-off at the BHS Gym at 6 p.m.
The Blytheville Chickasaws on Nov. 15 opened their 2018-19 season by defeating Bay 74-58 in the first round of the Brookland Tournament.
The Blytheville Lady Chickasaws (0-2) on Nov. 15 lost to Osceola 56-55 at the BHS Gym.
The Blytheville High School ninth grade Junior Chickasaws (0-4) on Nov. 15 lost at West Memphis East 64-36.
The Blytheville Middle School eighth grade Junior Chickasaws (0-4) on Nov. 15 lost at West Memphis East 47-19, and the seventh grade Junior Chickasaws (0-2) lost to the Red Imps 27-22.
The Blytheville Junior Lady Chickasaws (1-3) on Nov. 15 lost to Osceola 40-3 at the BHS Gym.

The Blytheville High School ninth grade Junior Chickasaws (0-2) on Nov. 8 succumbed to West Memphis East 57-47 at the BHS Gym, and the Blytheville Middle School eighth grade Junior Chickasaws (0-2) also dropped a 44-33 decision to the Red Imps.
The Blytheville Junior Lady Chickasaws (0-2) on Nov. 8 remained winless after losing to West Memphis East 38-15 at the BHS Gym.
We received word this morning before school that a student at BMS was threatening to have a gun with them. We have investigated this and found there was no weapon, and this was an empty threat. The campus has been secured and our school day will continue as planned.
