
A big thank you to the members of the BHS French Club and Blytheville community members for the many items they collected to be given to children in the Blytheville foster program. Approximately $500 worth of donations were collected in a very short amount of time! Thank you for your generosity Blytheville!
We are still in need of African American hair care products, regular or light maxi pads, and socks & underwear for all ages. Items can be given to any member of the French or Spanish Club, or to Mrs. Groves or Mrs. White. Collections will continue through the end of October.

A representative from the ASMSA, ARKANSAS SCHOOL for MATH SCIENCE and the ARTS, visited with students today to discuss all the opportunities that are offered through their residential school for high school students.



Our Chickasaw cheerleaders participated in an area event this weekend, Cheer for a Cure, and help raise $5100 for cancer research. Awesome job, ladies!!

Mrs. Brasfield's AP U.S. Government & Politics class participated in the Classroom Exchange program sponsored by the National Constitution Center for Constitution Day. Mrs. Brasfield's students discussed topics related to Freedom of Speech with students from a class in Reno, Nevada. The National Constitution Center facilitates these civil dialogues by providing instructional materials, pairing classrooms, connecting them with an expert moderator, and setting up video conferencing sessions.
